This thing works great and is an absolute game changer! I wish i would have gotten one of these (or made one) years ago! It may not be the prettiest tool in the shed, and aside from the threaded portion, it kinda looks like something a novice welder threw together in his spare time—but hey, like I said, it works great!It’s relatively small and compact considering what it’s capable of lifting, and it weighs a fraction of my automotive jacks. Plus, since it folds flat, it stores relitively well and easy. Now, let’s be real—it’s not lifting any cars, but it hoists my Craftsman rider like it’s nothing using just an 18V drill. (Pro tip: Do not use an impact driver unless you want to snap the stud clean off and have a bad time.)As for sturdiness—well, it’s got that “made in a guy’s garage” charm, even down to the weld spatter that got painted right over.
