Instructions are easy to follow but you will need help, i built it alone and had to do a bit of work around on how it was built. But overall i like this little shed.Despite the instructions, I assembled this shed alone, over about 10 total hours, working very methodically (slowly). In truth, it would have been better to have someone hold some of the pieces while I tried to attach them to each other, but I made do. This is sheet metal, with pre-drilled holes that usually line up where they are supposed to. There were times when the instructions asked me to do things that didn't seem possible (like trying to line up the holes on 3 pieces of sheet metal, on a ladder, in the wind, with a drill in one hand, but I made adjustments and got the job done. The edges of the sheet metal, by the way, are pretty unforgiving, my arms look like I lost a fight with a cat, I'm pretty cut up.The saving grace for me was the video that is on this page, it did a tremendous job of illustrating each step, with the exception of a few that were easy enough to figure out: except the door, the manual tells you to do things out of the order they tell you to use 3 steps later. (I was missing 2 pieces, a plastic cap, and a screw, and I don't know what to do about that since there is no phone number in the manual, edit: contacted the company and they are sending new parts, very accommodating .) The manual is pretty good too, otherwise. I'm curious to see how this unit does in wind and rain. I'm not convinced that all those screw holes are going to keep out water, I may have to put some silicone on them, and, I'm more concerned about Florida wind, I'm skeptical as to whether the light weight aluminum screws are going to hold up to a tropical storm. I'll report back. All in all, I enjoyed the assembly: it was like building a Lego (with really sharp edges) and was relatively logical and easy to figure out. I'm looking forward to having a nice place to keep my garden tools. The material for this shed couldn't possibly be any lighter - the metal panels are SUPER thin and a couple had split, but being 2/3 of the way through construction when finding this, I wasn't about to stop and try and return it. The assembly is not horrible, but it's not easy either - there are a couple of steps where you have to really pay attention to get things oriented correctly. I have to say I had to undo and redo a couple of steps along the way.All that said, now that it's finished, we're pretty happy with it and it's made storage of our snow blower, mowers and other garden stuff much more convenient. It's not bad considering the price and looks quite nice. The shed assembly took me 8 hours on my own. If you are looking to not invest a lot of money in a shed this is a good idea. Just keep in mind that the material is super cheap and probably won't last very long (maybe 3 years). Also be ready to make changes. some of the pieces were oversized and I had to adjust them. Make sure you have a foundation ready before you install the shred. good luck if you decide to go with this option.I was super excited upon purchasing this and then disappointed upon opening boxes and setting it up. Alot of the panels had damage while the shipping boxes did not. Putting it together wasn't so bad. Definitely need two people who with mediocre intelligence to follow instructions. The gloves they include are laughable. (See pictures. ) Cap for roof was a challenge as the middle needs to be connected as part of the final steps and it's hard to reach unless you're a giant with stretch Armstrong arms. The doors had to be adjusted multiple times in order to close properly. Honestly I would have returned this if I didn't need it due to time constraints. It was tricky to put together but worth it in the endMy boyfriend and I put it together. Did not kill each other.,lolPut I recommend to go on tube. Use video alot easier and quicker.First let me say, I NEVER write reviews. This is an exception. This stupid thing is a POS and a true test to one’s relationship, should you attempt to put it together with your S.O.We got this because we have to add a water softener next to our well. New build home, and we discovered it’s needed (after builders were done of course). Installing one in the “attic” where the water heater is, is totally out of the question as neither of us will carry 40lb bags of salt up rickety pull-down attic stairs. This building doesn’t work at all for what we needed, it’s a COLOSSAL pain the a$$ to put together, there’s no holes to line pieces up with when it say there are (only holes we’re corners of the frame), and it’s SO flimsy. Now we are stuck with it, out $300, and can’t return it.Save yourself the trouble and just buy a shed already built and have it delivered. I wish we did. I HATE this POS.
